Center For Multidisciplinary Research
Introduction
The MGM University's Multidisciplinary Research Centre is established interdisciplinary research initiatives that have demonstrated a critical mass of academic support in Science, Engineering, Humanities, and Medical Schools and have the explicit endorsement of the University's Research priority. MGM research priorities and strategies of the individual departments by tackling cross-disciplinary challenges and creating a shared cross-departmental vision in key thematic areas. A Multidisciplinary Research Centre builds on the aims and achievements developed by a Strategic Research Initiative over time.
Our current portfolio of Multidisciplinary Research Center includes:
The proposal to establish the Centre confirmed the Management of the MGM University, Chancellor, Vice-Chancellor, and Register of the University to enhance both the strategic planning and the funding of its research; to raise the national and international profile of the humanities at MGM University, and to encourage research at all levels among faculty - from the youngest to the most senior members. It also sought to address the need for a Faculty-wide body to coordinate the promotion and development of research in science, engineering, humanities, and health.
The aims and objectives of the Centre are to:
- Provide an over-arching structure for research activities in all departments.
- Help develop strategic thinking on research in the Interdisciplinary areas at MGM University by supporting National and International Research Priorities.
