Prof. K. K. Aggarwal,

President, South Asian University, New Delhi

Prof. K. K. Aggarwal is an Engineer by training and has been an accomplished academician and administrator. He received his PhD in Reliability Evaluation and Optimization from Kurukshetra University, Haryana. He pursued his Master's Degree from the same university securing first position. He obtained his Bachelor's Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Panjab University, Chandigarh as the topper.
Prof. Aggarwal has served the National Board of Accreditation, India, as its former Chairman. He was the Founding Vice Chancellor of Guru Govind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi, where he served for ten years from 1998 to 2008, leading from the front. Before this, he was the Pro Vice-Chancellor of Guru Jambheshwar University, Hisar, for three years. He is also the former Chairman of the Board of Governors, MNIT, Jaipur.

Indian Social activist working on social issues for tribals, dalits, farmers, labourers and women facing injustice in India.
Man Mohan Sharma FREng (born May 1, 1937 in Jodhpur, Rajasthan) is an Indian chemical engineer. He earned Bachelor of Chemical Engineering (1958) from UDCT (ICT) and subsequently MSc (Tech.) in 1960. Then he went overseas to receive his Ph.D. (Chemical Engineering) degree (1964) from the Cambridge University, Cambridge, UK under the tutelage of Prof. P. V. Danckwerts.
He has been awarded the Leverhulme Medal of the Royal Society, the S.S. Bhatnagar Prize in Engineering Sciences (1973), FICCI Award (1981), the Vishwakarma medal of the Indian National Science Academy (1985), G.M. Modi Award (1991), and Meghnad Saha Medal (1994) among others. In 1990, Professor Sharma became the first Indian engineer to be elected as a Fellow of the Royal Society, London. He is a Fellow of the Indian Academy of Sciences, Bangalore, Indian National Science Academy, Delhi, Honorary Fellow of the National Academy of Sciences, Allahabad and The World Academy of Sciences (TWAS), Trieste
