Eligibility

(a) Maharashtra State Candidate:
(i) The Candidate should be an Indian National and having domicile of Maharashtra state and / or born in Maharashtra state.
(ii) Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical Vocational subject or Computer Science or Information Technology or Informatics Practices or Agriculture or Engineering Graphics or Business Studies , and obtained at least 45% marks (at least 40% marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together and the candidate should have appeared in MGMU - CET 2026/ MHT-CET 2026 / PERA CET 2026 and should obtain non zero score in MGMU - CET 2026/ MHT-CET 2026 / PERA CET 2026. However, preference shall be given to the candidate obtaining non-zero positive score in MGMU - CET 2026 over the candidates who obtained non-zero score in MHT-CET 2026/ PERA CET 2026.
OR
(iii) Passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology and obtained at least 45% marks (at least 40% marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only).

 

(b) All India Candidates:
(i) The Candidate should be an Indian National.
(ii) Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical Vocational subject or Computer Science or Information Technology or Informatics Practices
or Agriculture or Engineering Graphics or Business Studies , and obtained at least 45% marks (at least 40% marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together and candidate should have appeared in MGMU - CET 2026/ JEE Mains Paper-I 2026/ MHT-CET 2026/ PERA CET 2026 and should obtain non-zero score in MGMU - CET 2026/ JEE Mains Paper-I 2026/ MHT-CET 2026/ PERA CET 2026. However, preference shall be given to the candidate obtaining non-zero positive score in JEE Mains Paper-I 2026 over the candidates who obtained non-zero score in MGMU - CET 2026/ MHT-CET 2026/ PERA CET 2026.
OR

(c) NRI Candidates:

The lab features experimental setups like Francis turbine test rig, Gear pump test rig, Impact of jet apparatus, Cavitation test rig, Bernoulli’s theorem verification apparatus, Kaplan turbine test rig, and more. These setups enrich students' practical knowledge in areas such as fluid mechanics, hydraulics, and naval architecture.

The CAD lab offers hardware and software resources for product design, drafting, and analysis. Equipped with HP ProDesk PCs (core i3), Creo4.0, CATIA V5 R27, and AutoCAD software, it supports various engineering courses and lab sessions.

The Metrology lab focuses on Metrology & Quality Control, training students in the use of precision instruments like Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, Height Gauges, and specialized equipment such as Autocollimators and Interferometers for precise measurements of dimensions and surface characteristics.

Heat Transfer Lab

The Heat Transfer lab for T.Y. Mechanical students offers practical insight into conduction, convection, and radiation, with experimental setups including thermal conductivity of insulating powder, critical heat flux apparatus for pool boiling, emissivity measurement setup, thermal conductivity of composite walls, and forced convection apparatus for internal pipe heat transfer coefficient determination.

Industrial Hydraulics & Pneumatics Lab

Industrial Hydraulics & Pneumatics Lab

The Pneumatics & Electro Pneumatics System includes setups from Christiani Sharpline and FESTO, featuring components like compressors, valves, actuators, and control boxes. Similarly, the Hydraulics & Electro Hydraulics System from FESTO involves high-pressure liquid applications controlled by electricity. FESTO's Fluid Sim software enables circuit design simulation for industrial pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
