Program Outline

The B.Tech Biomedical Engineering program at MGM University, in partnership with IBM Innovation Center for Education, integrates traditional biomedical engineering principles with advanced digital health technologies and AI-driven medical solutions. Students master human anatomy, medical device design, and biomaterials while leveraging IBM's Watson Health, medical imaging analytics, and IoT platforms for healthcare applications.

The curriculum combines hands-on laboratory work in medical instrumentation with IBM's cognitive computing tools for diagnostic systems, patient monitoring devices, and healthcare data management. Students gain experience with machine learning algorithms for medical diagnosis, IBM's FHIR-based health data standards, and cloud-based telemedicine solutions, supported by industry partnerships and clinical exposure opportunities.

Graduates are prepared for careers in medical device manufacturing, hospital technology management, regulatory affairs, and healthcare IT, equipped with both engineering expertise and digital health competencies. The program emphasizes innovation in personalized medicine, remote patient monitoring, and AI-assisted diagnostics, positioning students to drive technological advancement in modern healthcare delivery systems.
