Program Outline
“Geology is the scientific study of the Earth in which we studied about Earth’s materials, what it is made of & processes that affect them over time.” Geologists are also involved in exploration for mining industries in search of metals, oils, and other Earth resources.
The study of our planet is known as earth science. The MGMU offers B.Sc Hons course in geology to solid and comprehensive scientific training, reflecting the subject's enormous scope and quick advancement. Geologists play key roles in conserving the resources that support modern civilization, including fossil fuels and minerals, freshwater, and a clean environment.

Eligibility
(a) Maharashtra State Candidate:
(i) The Candidate should be an Indian National and having domicile of Maharashtra state and / or born in Maharashtra state.
(ii) Passed HSC or its equivalent examination and the candidate should have appeared in MGMU - CET 2026 should obtain non zero score in MGMU - CET 2026.

(b) All India Candidates:
(i) The Candidate should be an Indian National.
