Orientation program for new batch of 2019 was conducted on 8th July 2019 in Einstein Hall MGM Campus. All the Parents and Students were attended the program.
- Introductory speech was given by the Director Shubha Mahajan Ma’am.
- Rules and Regulation were explained by Assistant Professor Anjali Khot.
- Alumina member shared their experiences with the parents and students.
Topic: Seminar on Guidance on future career opportunities in abroad.

DISHA International Trust Foundation conducted seminar on the opportunities and career in fashion designing in abroad. Mr. Keeron Director of Disha foundation explained the sources, procedure various scholarship available for future research, internship and jobs in foreign countries. All the Parents and Students were attended the program.
Topic: Medical Camp Health Check-up 2019-20
20th July
MGM IFD organized Medical camp on 20th July 2019 for the students. The primary health check-up included height, weight, blood group, blood pressure, etc. were checked and maintained in the record file. Also medical problem was consulted with the doctors along with prescriptions.
Topic: workshop on rakhi making and weaving
5th August at 3:00
Rakhi Making and Weaving Workshop was held in MGM IFD for 1st and 2nd year students on 5th of August at 3:00pm in the 1st year classroom. Mrs. Sonika Devda was conducted this workshop. She had given demonstration on basic weaving process, also explained how to make Rakhi, friendship band on this handy loom.
Topic: Fresher’s 2019
13 August
Fresher’s 2019 was held on 9th and 10th of August 2019 for Welcoming the new academic batch 2019-20. In Fresher’s party Mr and Miss. Fresher’s competitions, Dancing and Singing Competitions, Fish ponds, Dj party, Dinner and Snacks with the dress code like Solid colour and Sparkling Theme were some of the major highlights of the two day events.
Topic: Organ Donation Awareness program 2019-20
6th September
MGM IFD organized Organ Donation Awareness Program on 6th of September 2019 in Rukhmini Hall for the students to develop Organ Donation awareness. Dr.Sundar Kulkarni Civil surgeon of Aurangabad was Chief Guest, Dr Sudhir Kulkarni, Dr Rajendra Bohra, Dr Praveen Suryawanshi, Shitija Gadekar Guided our students about Organ Donation. Dr Praveen Suryawanshi explained the complete procedure of organ donation. Dr Sudhir Kulkarni and Dr Praveen Suryawanshi cleared the doubt related to organ donation of students. All present students and faculty took the oath for Organ donation. Short Film “Phir Zindagi” was shown to students explaining the importance of Organ Donation.
Topic: Visual Merchandising Project
Thinking out of the box always works, but this comes in practice only after frequent projects assigned to students. Our BFA-3rd year students window display project for A/W 2019.
Topic: Flash Mob on Breast Cancer Awareness
MGM IFD students performed on the different motivated songs to bring awareness on breast cancer in the month of October 2019. October is celebrated as Breast Cancer awareness month ever year. To bring in notice of breast cancer students have displayed banners along with their performance. Group of 25 students have performed in the MGM Campus and Prozone mall Aurangabad too.
