Program Outline

Electrical Engineering Department offers Master of Technology in Electrical Power System approved by  All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). M. Tech. (Electrical Power System) program not only develops the industry needed expertise and effective academician in the chosen domain but also helps to acquire the professional attitude, effective communication skills, leadership qualities, management skills and an ability to solve social issues using Gandhian  philosophy. The technical aspects are highlighted throughout the program, giving importance to multidisciplinary courses for multidimensional development of student. In addition to core courses, student can opt for discipline specific elective subjects and open electives subjects from different institutes of the university.

Program is uniquely designed to increase the employability and to prepare students to work in a multi-discipline work environment.  The program  gives emphasis on outcome based education, design thinking process and collaborative education component involving Guest lectures, Projects, Seminars, Internships and Activity Based Learning. After completion of this program, students will be very well suited to serve in power sector, industrial sector, service sector and government organization.

Program Structure
