National Conference on NEP at MGM University

MGM University has organized a national-level conference, ‘National Education Policy 2020: A New Approach to Comprehensive Development’ on March 15, 2023 from 9.30 am at Rukmini Auditorium, MGM University, Chhatrapati Smbhajinagar.

This is the first conference on National Education Policy 2020 (NEP) to be held at the University. The New Education Policy is a roadmap to adapt to the changing dynamics of education, which provides an opportunity to rethink, restructure and reimagine the education system.

Various aspects of NEP along with the need for a new policy for health education, curriculum and teaching methods to improve the competency of teachers will be discussed at the conference.

The Vice President of MGM Trust Dr. P.M. Jadhav, Chancellor of Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Dr. Madhuri Kanitkar, Vice-Chancellor of Krishna Vishwa University Karad, Dr. Praveen Shingare, Vice-Chancellor of Atlas Skill Tech University, Dr. Rajan Velukar, Vice-Chancellor of MGM Institute of Health Science Dr. Shashank Dalvi and Vice-Chancellor of MGM University Dr. Vilas Sapkal will be the key speakers of the conference.

A panel discussion will also be held on the topic of Integrating Health Education with National Education Policy. This session will be moderated by Dr. Rita Khadkikar of the Institute of Health Sciences. The coordination committee has appealed to all interested people to attend the conference.
