Program Outline
A Master degree in Education envisions creating ‘a community of excellent elementary, secondary teachers and teacher educators – rooted in the best tradition and well equipped for the bright future’. The Master of Arts (Education) Program is an innovative program, by which the learners will have wider and more comprehensive understanding of education as a field of knowledge and it would familiarize by catering a wide variety of learner needs. The Course is designed to meet the ever increasing needs of the Secondary & Higher Secondary School Teachers in Maharashtra in particular and the Nation as a whole. The aim is to produce the quality trained teachers in all the disciplines of school subjects with the help of dedicated faculty and available quality infrastructural resources.
Eligibility and Admission Procedure
- Duration: 2 years (4 semesters) full time PG Degree program.
- Total Credits: 76
- Total Marks:1900
- Total Seats:20 students
- Medium:English/Marathi
- Direct Admissions: On Merit and Counseling (Online registration compulsory)
- Eligibility: A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized Indian or foreign university having secured a minimum of 45% aggregate in case of General and 40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved categories are eligible to apply.
- Procedure for Admission:-
- MGM University shall admit M.A Education students through an Entrance Test conducted at the level of the University. Online registration, CET & Panel Interview
- Fees for PG M.A. Education:-
- The Fee is to be paid by Digital Payment mode only through MGM University ERP.

Program Structure
M.A Education is a two-year program comprising of four semesters with mandatory Internships, projects and Dissertations.
