  • International symposium on “Human Rights for Communicators: An approach to Peace journalism”. An expert team of six delegates from Europe addressed the gathering while Adv Asim Sarode, Human Rights lawyer was the chief guest for event and Prof S. Gavhane chaired the event.
  • Seminar on “Citizenship Amendment Act: Confusions & Reality” in presence of the speakers, Ms. Meghna Dhoke (Feature Writer), Mr. Sameer Shaikh (Social Activist), Mr. Jaydev Dole (Sr. Journalist) and Col. Dr Satish Dhage (Director, MGM ICE) on the occasion of Darpan Diwas on 6th January 2020.
  • Interdisciplinary International Conference on “Women in the 21st Century: India & Abroad” on the occasion of Women’s Day was organized on 7th and 8th March 2020 where eminent International as well as National speakers gave their enriching contribution.

NSS Activities:

  • Constitution Day celebration on 26th November 2019 organized by the students of the college under NSS. Student expressed their views about the constitution of India and today’s political scenario, recited the preamble and also paid homage to martyrs of the 26/11 attack.

Cultural Activities:

  • MGM Foundation Day Celebration on 20th December, 2019 celebrating the 37th Foundation Day foundation of the MGM Trust. Students give in their creative efforts in many cultural activities.
  • Celebration of JournoFest annual gathering of the students including lots of happiness and laughter with their theme based days and cultural activities.
  • Celebration Fresher’s Party with great enthusiasm welcoming the new batch of 2019-20 with great pomp and cultural shows.

Educational Tour:

Delhi Amritsar Educational Tour 2020 incorporated an enriching learning experience and exposure to the students with visits to NDTV, BBC and many other media houses, interactions with Senior Journalists like Mr. Ravish Kumar and many more.

Bird Festival is also a regular event to showcase the images of different types of migrating birds captured by budding wildlife photographers.
